Lino delle Fate Eco Village Resort

The resort is extremely well kept and spacious. The rooms were very clean and perfect for a small family. The nice patio furniture was cosy for relaxing evenings. I wouldn’t return for a stay with my wife, as there are far too many children for a romantic getaway. Perhaps they should consider a adult only section of the resort or are for kids over 10, to give people with older children an option for a “quiet stay”. As there are many small children, the food left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was a cheap, but sugar loaded, but a worthwhile addition to the stay. If you’re expecting healthy food, you might want to bring your own groceries and eat at your cottage. Dinner looked unappealing and certainly not worth the 40€ fee per person, so we elected to go out to other restaurants in the neighbourhood for better food and they were cheaper. The bike rental was a good addition, but their working hours are limited 9:30-18:00. The beach was fantastic and within a 5-10 minute walk. The bathrooms on the beach for resort guests were well kept and a nice change from the public beaches down the road. They don’t really enforce the “no pets” as there were multiple families with their dogs. Since I love dogs, I didn’t mind, but seeing dogs pooping on the beach multiple times made me wonder if it would bother me more if I had younger children playing in the sand.

Perfect 7 days for families with babies or small children! New hotel, new furniture, new equiment, new sheets, new towels. Big heated pool. Beach is 7mins from the entrance of the hotel (make sure to ask for a room nearest to the beach), which can be a lot for kids in the sun, but once on the beach you're right in the sea and with a lot more calmness than in the main part of Bibione. We were upgraded from a one bedroom to a two bedroom (and are we glad we were this lucky with two small children) and got the room near the beach we asked beforehand. The only two things we didn't like was the absence of washing machine and the fact they only cleaned our room one time (changed the towels 3 times) in 7 days. Supermarket 7 mins from the hotel as well. Highly efficient mosquito control! Didn't use the restaurant, só cannot comment on that part. All in all, highly recommended.

We stayed there for a week for a family vacation with our in-laws, we booked two bungalows. We were a bit dubious at the "no mosquito" concept at the beginning, but we have to admit it works: no mosquitoes in sight! It's a great place for a family holiday, whether you're in for the beach, the pool, or biking. Travelling by bike is really ideal in this location (the resort offers a rental service, even bikes to carry babies), you can get to a lot of places in the area that way without having to book a taxi. If you can't travel by bike, as was our case, you'll either miss out on a lot of activities or pay significantly more. The staff is very helpful and are happy to give you information about just anything you want to know. Be aware though that they only speak Italian, German, and a little bit of English. Our in-laws only spoke French and we found nobody at the hotel that spoke French, which is misleading given that their website has a French translation. The food in the area in general is very good. At the resort, it's a bit more expensive but the quality is also better. The same goes for cocktails: they're a bit more expensive than in town, but they're amazing. While our overall experience was great, there were a few negative points: the shower door in one of the bungalows wasn't closing properly and the whole bathroom flooded everytime someone took a shower. The staff tried a few things but in the end said there was nothing they could do apart from completely changing the door, which was a bit disappointing. The fire alarm also suddenly went off in that same bungalow while people were taking an afternoon nap: there was no fire, no activity, but it went off and woke everyone up. Overall, a very nice place for a family holiday, we had a great time and would recommend it, provided you're OK with these little shortcomings.

Nice, clean and modern resort. Very well designed and lay out is nice. Many very young families, baby’s and toddlers, all mixed with older families. Breakfast and dinner was very good… swimming pool as well. Distance to the beach and the beach itself was not too good. House was noisy and with crying babies and kids not ideal…
